The main focus of my research is the implementation and application of the KdV-based nonlinear Fourier transform for free-surface waves in shallow water. This is the topic of my Doctorate and some projects afterwards. Furthermore, during my time at Leichtweiß-Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources (LWI), TU Braunschweig, I was involved in a number of projects in coastal engineering that are listed below.
