Teaching

"Teaching is the highest form of understanding." - Aristotle

Within my professional life, I have gained some teaching experience. I started as teaching assistent with Prof. Oumeraci in Hydromechanics and Coastal Engineering with being responsible for all teaching-related matters in the Division of Hydromechanics and Coastal Engineering at Leichtweiß-Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources (LWI), TU Braunschweig. This included the exercises in Hydromechanics for Bachelor degree and Coastal Engineering for Master degree students.

After changing to the Institute of Fluid Mechancis (IfM), TU Braunschweig, I continued with Fluid Mechanics for Bachelor and Master degree students. Being back at LWI, I got a teaching assignment for "Spectral analysis of nonlinear waves in coastal regions", which is the topic of my Doctorate. In addition, I also got a teaching assignment at TU Darmstadt for "Coastal hydraulic engineering". After taking over the position at Interim Head of Division in the Division of Hydromechanics and Coastal Engineering in 2017 after the retirement of Prof. Oumeraci, for two semesters I also took over the lectures in Hydromechanics for Bachelor and Coastal Engineering for Master degree students.
